The Fijians of Athenry

Low, lie the Fijians of Athenry!

Yes, it’s fun to play with words and even funner to play with song as the Fijian soldiers from the Briitish Army in Belfast did fusing cultures and sounds for us at The Morrison www.morrisonhotel.ie.

There was a funny-looking chocolate-looking national drink, a High Commissioner former second-row rugby forward, a beardie bandana-wearing dude Dancing Dad and a Fijian called Rosie.

There was no alcohol in the drink but I’m still trying to make sense of it all.

Which I will… and report back to you tomorrow.

Lets dance! I’ve waltzed with Judy Murray, partied with Brian Lara, manned the barricades with Civil Rights leader Myrlie Evers and even unmasked The Donald as a mariachi fan. Join me (and my bandana) on a madcap tour of the world with the people who make it all possible, our wonderful travel providers.
