Horsing around at the Dublin Horse Show

My Dear Old Dad loved his sport… he’d watch two flies chasing each other up a wall. And showjumping!

Now there weren’t many of us running around the playground in Glasgow in the Seventies.

On pretend horses channeling our inner Eddie Mackens or Harvey Smiths.

But the Royal International Horse Show was peak-time viewing (no Love Island then, thank the Lord).

The Dublin Horse Show is a horse of a, well pretty similar colour really.

And an event I pretty much pencil into my calendar early every year.

When I clear my head I’ll tell you more but for now thanks to our hosts Stena www.stenaline.ie www.stenaline.ie and www.dublinhorseshow.com.

Lets dance! I’ve waltzed with Judy Murray, partied with Brian Lara, manned the barricades with Civil Rights leader Myrlie Evers and even unmasked The Donald as a mariachi fan. Join me (and my bandana) on a madcap tour of the world with the people who make it all possible, our wonderful travel providers.
