Thanks a minion Universal and our favourite blue-overalled builders who have only erected another fun fantasy world in Orlando.
The yellow mini-fellows will be in super-excited mood later this month.
When they unveil Minion Land on Illumination Avenue.
In truth the Minions have been an integral part of Universal Orlando Resort’s many lands for years now.
Empire building
In fact they were burrowing around when I last visited… I guess I should have known they were empire building.
So, of course, you can look forward to a whole new level of Minion mischief, Gruesome Gru and diabolical fun.
In Illumination’s Villain-Con Minion Blast guests can blast their way to supervillain stardom.
Blending immersive sets, interactive game-based technology, and an original storyline, your villainous skills will be put to the test.
To see if you have what it takes to become a member of the Vicious 6.
You’ll know them as a notorious group of supervillains from ‘Minions: The Rise of Gru’.
Gru grub
Guests can stop by the outdoor Illumination Theater façade to meet, greet, and interact with beloved characters.
Like the Minions, Gru, Margo, Edith, and Agnes from the “Despicable Me” franchise.
And Rosita, Gunter, and Johnny from the hit film Sing.
Guests can fuel up for the mayhem with a unique dining experience, Illumination’s Minion Cafe.
Deliver us to evil
A new eatery run by the Minions featuring inventive fare for every guest.
Pop-A-Nana, a kiosk featuring banana-flavored popcorn.
Freeze Ray Pops, a walk-up window serving refreshingly colorful frozen treats.
And Bake My Day, a retail location and bakery featuring Minion-themed sweet treats.
While you can also pick up all the items necessary for your villainous transformation at the new Evil Stuff retail store.
So thanks a Minion Universal and see you soon… in fact any time from August 11.
Aer Lingus flies to Orlando from £178.19.
